Singing, games and laughter filled the 3's classrooms as they celebrated the Christmas holiday with family and friends.
Game time - lots of fun with candy canes!

2's December Happenings
December always seems to be a month full of fun and excitement - this year was no different! All three classes of twos enjoyed numerous activities targeting all kinds of skills - gross and fine motor skills, identifying shapes and colors and so much more! Learning was fun as each person helped decorate their Christmas tree with ornaments.
We took the time for lots of fine motor skill practice like stringing jingle bells on pipe cleaners,
gluing lots of green on Green Day,
transferring water from one bowl to another with sponges (a favorite!),
and gluing ornaments (pom poms) on Christmas trees.
And speaking of Green Day, look at these cuties all dressed in green!
Bean bags are so much fun especially when we get to throw them across the room at our big blue star, the shape of the month!
Learning to work together!
Christmas party fun!
Looking forward to what January holds for us!

4's: Baking bread
This is really late but just has to be posted. The 4's had a great time talking about friendship and one of our new favorite activities is to make bread in a bag! Not only was it fun but it was edible too!!! First we placed all the ingredients in a bag and then squished and squished and squished until everything was mixed up - really mixed up!
Then the dough was kneaded and placed in bread pans.
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Then the dough was kneaded and placed in bread pans.
It was baked and ready to be taken home and eaten. We had several that asked for the recipe ... I think it was a big success!
And we finished up our Thanksgiving party with a play. Our Pilgrims, Indians and Turkeys did a great job!
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
