3's - "Whose Shoe?"

What do bamboo blocks and shoes have in common?  They both bring lots of smiles!  The three’s played a game of “Whose Shoe?” where each child takes off one shoe and puts it in a pile in the middle of the circle.  Taking turns, each child picks out a shoe and finds the person it belongs to by finding the match.  This was a fun way to learn the names of our new friends!

2's September Happenings

The beginning of the year is always an interesting and exciting time for everyone.  The two’s classes showed they were ready to get down to business!  There was some hesitancy and a few tears but they stayed busy with lots of fun activities in September (despite Hurricane Florence)!  Some of the favorites were:

Play dough and painting

Rolling like crayons

Blocks

Now that the children are more familiar with their teachers and new friends, the tears are drying up and are being replaced with laughter and smiles.  Fun times ahead!

A New Beginning August 2018

One of my favorite things to do at any time during the year is take group pictures of our classes.   Of the many pictures that were taken of each group, here are just a few that reflect the changes that take place at the click of a camera.  They bring smiles to our faces every time we look at them!  This is the first day of school for our morning four's.

And the afternoon four's class.

It's going to be an exciting year!
