Gross motor skill practice can take place in the classroom as well as on the playground and the 2's classes had a good time with their inside tunnel activity last week. When they completed their "crawling activity", they read the book
The Itsy Bitsy Spider and enjoyed making spider webs by placing a piece of black construction paper in a box, dipping marbles in white paint, placing them in the box and shaking the box. They created webs fit for an itsy bitsy spider. Shake, shake, shake!
