Centers give everyone an opportunity to actively explore and experiment. Blocks require both fine and gross motor skills and little learners are using math and language development as they work together. None of that really mattered to this group - they just knew they were pretty happy with their "block buildings".
We can talk about some of the benefits of play dough but this group will tell you what they like about it is smashing, squishing and rolling it. Sounds like a lot of fun!
So much going on here! Look how those vehicles are so neatly lined up. Are they counting vehicles or picking out a future vehicle?!?
One of the themes for November was "5 Senses". Each box was filled a different item. The object was to shake a box and find another box that had a sound that matched. They enjoyed the challenge!
